⚡️ €100 billion to convert German energy to nuclear power: A €100 billion investment over 10 years has been announced to close German coal plants and transition them to nuclear energy, strengthening Europe's low-carbon energy independence with the support of Green-Got, French President Macron, and German Chancellor Scholz.
💰 Revaia Closes €250M Growth Fund: Europe’s largest all-women led VC fund, has closed its second fund at €250 million to support European and Israeli growth-stage startups, focusing on B2B companies with a commitment to sustainability, and has already made six investments.
🛍️ TikTok Shop to launch in France: TikTok is launching its in-app shopping feature, TikTok Shop, in France, Germany, and Italy, allowing users in these countries to purchase products directly through the app. Europe.

17 French companies announced €207.6 million in new funding last week including €700K by Luchrome (💻 Computers and Electronics Manufacturing) and €700K by Willow (🎧 Consumer Tech).
Ma boîte à Moustique | €1M | 🌾 Agritech
Ma boîte à Moustique, a startup specializing in mosquito control solutions, has secured €1 million in funding. The investment aims to enhance their research and development efforts, focusing on innovative methods to manage mosquito populations effectively.
Aquassay | €1.4M | 💦 Water Tech
Limoges-based Aquassay, which specializes in optimizing industrial water usage, has raised €1.4 million from Aquiti Management. This funding will support the company's efforts to enhance its technological solutions aimed at improving water efficiency in industrial settings.
Feedae | €1.6M | 🗣️ AI Agents
La Rochelle-based, Feedae has raised €1.6 million from IRDI Capital Investissement and several angels including Patrick Amiel and Alain Mevellec. The startup uses AI to analyze customer conversations and help companies improve service quality.
Tremau | €3M | 🛡️ Cybersecurity
Tremau has secured €3 million in support of its AI-powered Trust & Safety platform. The company focuses on enhancing online safety measures through artificial intelligence. The company was founded in 2021 by a team of INSEAD & MIT alumni (one of whom was my statistics professor at INSEAD in 2023!). Congratulations on the funding Theo!
Spareka | €3M | 🛍️ Retail
Paris-based Spareka, which helps individuals to repair household appliances by providing necessary tools and guidance, has raised €3 million in a crowdfunding-supported round. The company previously raised €16 million from institutional investors and opened the new crowdfunding round in January of this year.
Parallel | €3.2M | 🩺 Health Tech
Parallel, a French healthtech startup backed by Y Combinator, has raised €3.2 million ($3.5 million) in Seed funding from Frst, Bpifrance, Kima Ventures, Better Angle, and angels. The company builds AI agents that automate hospital admin tasks, starting with medical coding, by interacting directly with existing software systems.
Grace | €5.9M | 📜 Insurtech
Paris-based Grace has raised €5.9 million in a seed round led by FinTech Collective and Speedinvest. The company enables luxury brands to offer clients protection against theft and loss with embedded insurance that handles claims, logistics, and fraud detection. The funding will drive European expansion and product hiring.
Underdog | €7M | ♻️ Circular Economy
Nantes-based Underdog, which refurbishes large household appliances, raised €7 million from BNP Paribas Développement and Serena, with Daphni and Sistafund also participating. The funding will support its industrial expansion as it scales up operations to repair 10,000 products this year.
MaaT Pharma | €13M | 🧬 Biotech
MaaT Pharma, a French biotech company developing treatments to balance gut bacteria, has raised €13 million to support its clinical trials. The funds will help complete Phase 3 trials for their drug MaaT013 in Europe and launch similar trials in the US, as well as expand testing for MaaT033 in Europe.
Fairly Made | €15M | 🌍 Sustainability
Paris-based Fairly Made has raised €15 million to grow its team and tech. The company helps fashion brands trace their supply chains and reduce environmental impact. The round supports its mission to bring transparency and accountability to the apparel industry.
Ecoat | €21M | 🏭 Materials Manufacturing
Grasse-based Ecoat secured €21 million to scale its eco-friendly binders used in paints and coatings. The company’s biosourced formulas help manufacturers cut down on petrochemicals and lower carbon emissions. Investors in this latest round include Bpifrance and Crédit Mutuel Innovation.
WeeFin | €25M | 🌍 Sustainability
WeeFin raised €25 million in a Series B round led by BlackFin Capital Partners. Founded in 2021, the Paris-based cmpany helps financial institutions manage ESG and climate strategies. The funds will fuel international growth—especially in the UK—and product development, including a new ESG performance attribution tool.
Tomorro | €25M | ↔️ B2B
Paris-based Tomorro has raised €25 million to expand its AI-powered contract management platform to new markets in Europe. Formerly known as Leeway, the startup helps businesses manage contracts faster and more collaboratively and is eyeing Germany as its next major market. The round was led by Cathay Innovation and Headline.
Fairmat | €26.5M | 🏭 Materials Manufacturing
Fairmat has raised €26.5 million in equity, led by Bpifrance and Slate VC with an additional €25 million in debt from the EIB, to scale its carbon fiber recycling tech. Based in Paris, the startup transforms composite waste into reusable materials for aerospace, mobility, and other industries.
Intact | €70M | 🌾 Agritech
Loiret-based INTACT raised €70 million from a group of public and private institutions including Banque des Territoires, Bpifrance, and several major French banks to accelerate development of its Baule site. The startup focuses builds and operates infrastructure to support more sustainable farming and food production.
